YAY!

A few days ago, we ordered our specialized TPIIAC Blog-Shirts, and they came in at Thursday! Unfortunately we had no time writing about that because fo the gamescom, but now, it’s about time!
The T-Shirts are black, at the front is our main logo, and at the back you will find our Nicknames and our new domain, http://tpiiac.org. If you meet us on any event, feel free to talk to us =D

I think I’ll post pictures the next days.

I’m lucky, you know! Due to the fact that we have the VMP (Yeah, it’s just VMP instead of VuMP), my teacher got to send us to the gamescom as statistics which are used to get material for pre-news. But that was already on the 18th, and as a reward, they gave us a free ticket either for thursday or friday and a special ticket for wednesday, which is by the way the special day for commercial and press visitors. So, we visited the gamescom without any other annoying gamers! =D

I already knew much about the stands, since I was already there at August 18th, so I moved straight to the halls I didn’t see. A whole lot awaits: DIABLO III, various presentations of new games, like Assassin’s Creed II, Splinter Cell: Conviction and the new pay-to-play mmorpg Aion. And this is just a little piece. While moving through the well-air-conditioned Boulevard of the Koelnmesse, I spotted various new games, like DJ Hero, the new alternative to Guitar Hero, where you mix and scratch on a mixing desk-controller. The gamescom is REALLY a heaven for gamers – and fortunately I was along with the VMP one of the only gamers on the trade fair XD

In the end, I had to go at 6 p.m. I am still sad because of being so fukken dumb and missing the only chance to play my biggest favourite on the gamescom: Halo 3: ODST. I will visit the gamescom again on Friday and Saturday, but then there will be those god-damn age-seals, which just BAN me from the over-18-games. Including H3ODST. =(

Friday was for me a big milestone in my gamescom trip. It already started with the fact that they gave me a red age-seal, which means I’m over 18 (which I’m obviously NOT ;D), so I could move around and play what I want. Nevertheless, some staff didn’t believe my “age”, so I had to “forget my ID-Card into the pocket of the jacket that I left at the wardrobe”. It was funny though, even my friends got red age-seals, and it was fun to walk into nearly everything you wanted to. I also met Blumio, a german fun-rapper, whose songs are senseless, but funny. What really startled me were all the hostesses running around at the gamescom, including a Faith from Mirror’s Edge and a Lara Croft from Tomb Raider. I was like “omg”, I mean, with such hot-ass girls around me, I even forgot about the games =/

Later, near the end of the day, I played LEGO Rockband and the new Guitar Hero 5 many times with my friends, often singing or drumming. In the end, because of my neverending partying at all songs, a guy came up to me and said that they need a singer for the Saturday band contest. I have now the chance to rock a small crowd and also winning a brand-new headset =D

We left at 8 p.m., when the trade fair closed for today. It was a big fun, and now I have TWO reasons to go on Saturday: The cosplay world record try AND the GH5-Band contest. Wish me luck!!

At least, Saturday was just for me to raid the whole trade fair with Hace and ovIm, but I lost both because of my cellphone which died.
About the contest…Well, we participated in the LEGO Rockband-Contest for Europe’s “Final Countdown”, where we just took 2nd place. We were 102k points away, too bad, we missed an entire Rockband 2-Set for the PSe for each one of us. But later, we also got to know that we would not rock the Guitar Hero-Stage, whatever why. So, most of the time at Saturday I spent at LEGO Rockband, and hanging aroung with friends. We also participated at the world record try, but didn’t break it at all. Nevertheless, we had our fun. Especially in the last 2 hours before closing, I was the main singer at the LEGO Rockband-stage, and my voice is damaged according to that.

MAIN MEANING ABOUT THE GAMESCOM
I expected games, games, merchandise, games, previews, raffles, games, contests, and again games. In the end I paid 12 bucks for 4 days at the gamescom, I would have paid around 50 bucks if I wouldn’t had been the statistic for the pre-news-material. BUt nevertheless, even for the 12 bucks, I think there wasn’t enough. There were a whole fukken bunch of different and even awesome games, but I ran thru the gamescom within 3 hours at friday. The rest of my time, I spent showing the gamescom to my friends, and playing the brain outta my head. The gamescom is truly a heaven for gamers, But, seriously, there can be more.
